On Saturday November 12, 2022 there was a ribbon cutting at Subway. Joey and Whitney Kochsmeier are the new owners. Thank you to all who stopped by to show their support! Joey and Whitney Kochsmeier have been staples in the community for years. From

On Friday, December 1st, 2023 the City of Polo held a ribbon cutting for the City’s first electric vehicle charging station. The charging station was part of Polo’s participation in an initiative to help local governments prepare to meet a growing demand for electric vehicles and EV charging infrastructure has reached its end, but the work completed remains.
The goals of the charging station were to get on the map and to bring people to our community that will have to stick around for a couple of hours. They will stop at our restaurants and our businesses since they will need to charge their vehicle for several hours.
